Our School
Message from the Principal
Dear Brock Elementary Families,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Glynn H. Brock Elementary School, I am excited to welcome each of you to the 2025-2026 school year! Our theme for this year is “Launching Minds…Unlocking Excellence!”
I am looking forward to meeting each one of you! Please be sure to check our school website frequently for updates, your teacher’s website in JCAMPUS and also the weekly newsletter that is sent home. We also encourage every parent to join the 2025-26 Glynn H. Brock Facebook page. If any of your contact information ever changes, please be sure to contact the front office to inform them of the change.
Our first bell rings at 7:30 AM which signals when students can begin to arrive on campus. All students must be dropped off through the carline by 8:00AM or arrive by school bus. Attendance is a direct correlation and critical component to a child’s academic success. Therefore, it is very important that your child arrives at school on time each day. By ensuring they are on time, they can eat breakfast and get to class before instruction begins. It is also important that you follow the rules of the carline, specifically our arrival and dismissal procedures – this is imperative for the safety of our students and staff.
We welcome visitors on campus for some special events throughout the year. All visitors must be on the student’s emergency card and will need to have a valid ID to come on campus.
Our entire Brock Family looks forward to working together with each of you to ensure your child’s academic success. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions/concerns.

Jamie Mills

Our Mission
All Brock Elementary students will reach their highest potential in learning and achieve career or college readiness.
BES Beliefs:
- Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
- Students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process.
- Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
- Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for achieving the schools mission.
- Student learning is the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of the school.
- The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students to become confident, self-directed, life-long learners.
Our Motto
*We Believe All Children Can Achieve*
Title I
Brock Elementary is a Title I school. A Title I school is provided supplemental funds by the U.S. Government to meet the needs of at-risk and low-income students. Plans are written to show how we use those supplemental funds. The plans also show how our school, students, parents, and community work together so that our Brock students continue to show progress.
